Hi mates,

It’s another week.

Last Saturday, Shan and I rushed to Parramatta after work, with camera, video and tripod. When we had arrived Church Street , we saw a stage set up in the corner of the street. Down the stage there was a big crowd of peoples, yes peoples. Siaolin kung fu guys and lions, not tigers, were performing their tricks for the spectators. Saichung was the MC of this Chinese New Year Celebration night organised by the Parramatta Council. And we were there to support Saichung by recording how well he has done. One of the high lights of the night was the fire cracker show. Anyway it was a good one. After that we had Shanghai food or dinner.

On Sunday night, there was the CCCA annual Chinese New Year Dinner held in the Pak Fook restaurant in Eastwood.and Saichung is the MC again. Some Liberal politicians were in the party. Again I video tapped the whole night.

Michael Richardson, the Federal MP, presented the award of “Woman of the Year of New South Wales” for Jenny Lau. I congratulate her and her effort in serving the Cherry Brooke community is much appreciated.

My trip is getting closer and closer. I have sent some Emails to the hostels where I will go asking some questions to help in my preparation to ease my worries. Luckily everything is under control and is on the right track.

The coming Sunday is the annual CUHKAAA Chinese New Year dinner held at the Parramatta Rugby League Club restaurant. We are waiting for this.
Let’s chat again.
